Club 707 Party @ Highbury School

Highbury Parents Association once again hosted the 707 club end of year party in The Centenary Hall at the school. This is our 5th consecutive year that we have entertained the parents at this event, each having its own special theme (World Cup, Spanish, Western, Sixties) and this event, the Eighties. It was great to see how the parents took to the theme, dressing in the likes of Madonna, John McEnroe, Lady Diana Spencer and the disco kings & queens of the time (some say, that they just unpacked the back cupboard). Prizes were handed out throughout the evening for best dressed, most daring dressed, most interestingly dressed and least dressed (as in did not dress up at all………….not what you were thinking). It was an emotional speech for the now outgoing Chairperson, as his children were leaving grade 7 and the school and heading to Kearsney College, for which Highbury is one of the main feeder schools in the area. Natal Mobile audio were asked to maintain the theme by playing mainly music from the eighties, as the night went on until the early hours of the morning. It was good to see the parents ‘letting their hair down’ and letting the good times roll. Décor of the Centenary hall was once again under the expert eye of Debbie Montague of ETC Events (

"Thank you Garth & Anthony. After the many years of doing our parties for the 707 club, you still remain fantastic. Thanks for sticking to the eighties theme."
